The Zafar Foundation is a humanitarian organisation devoted to creating equality, dignity, and hope for all. Guided by the compassion and selfless service of Guru Harkrishan Ji, our mission is to relieve hardship, challenge injustice, and help people live with confidence, safety, and purpose.

Our work delivers both immediate support and lasting change. We provide food and essentials to the homeless and hungry, assist families in crisis, and deliver humanitarian aid in the UK and overseas. Employment and skills programmes help people regain independence, while empowerment and wellbeing workshops build confidence and leadership, especially for women who have faced discrimination or abuse.

Education and awareness are at the heart of everything we do. Through community training and outreach, we address racism, sexism, harassment, and abuse — promoting equality, respect, and human rights in homes, schools, and workplaces. Mindfulness and meditation classes support emotional wellbeing and resilience, while counselling and support services provide a safe space for those in need of guidance and care.

The foundation also upholds children’s and babies’ rights, ensuring every child has access to safety, education, health, and compassion. Parenting and early-years support programmes help families nurture stronger, kinder futures.
